about

5 years ago, I started this journey and I'd be lying if I told you that I knew it would take me this far. I never intended on sharing my thoughts with people. It was only for therapeutic reasons. When I did I discovered that I may actually have a knack for it. I was encouraged to keep going so that's simply what I did...and I got better. I got more confident. I met some more talented people. I got respect from them. I got respect from my peers.

Don't stop lovin was the first song I ever laid on an actual mic. And rightfully so because I love the culture with my every being. There is nothing like having the platform to speak out to the world and connect with people all around it. There is nothing like being on stage in front of curious minds wondering "now what does he have to say?" and all you gotta do is let em know. Nothing.

I went with the name a.K.a because I didn't know who I was. I didn't see my self as an artist and I didn't want to be confined to a name. It was the last thing I worried about. Today I am Fanetic. I'm the artist fully in sync with sound. I still have a lot to say, and a lot to prove, and a lot to improve on.

I'm releasing this project to show you all how far I've come. Some songs I am not proud of, but it was what has made me into who I am today. It represents my journey, my weaknesses, and my potential. It would not be right to keep it from the world.

Looking back I can say I had a lot fun making these songs. It is a reminder to me that it should always be that way. Have fun. No matter what. No regrets. I hope you enjoy.

Special thanks to Wanger Dimah, Sha, Kyle Pierce, Damien Chan, Divine, Nate, anybody who helped me make this possible and to those who encouraged me these past five years.

I will keep going.
